A revista RollingStone publicou uma lista dos 100 melhores guitarristas da história, eu não sei os critérios usados, mas, certamente um dos critérios foi relativo a considerar guitarristas de Bandas, isto explica o motivo de não fazerem parte da lista guitarristas solos como: Joe Satriani, Steve Vai.
